The device consumes 60W DC per hour to produce 10 liters of hydrogen (0.001 kg) per hour, enough to fill a HydroStik metal hydride storage cartridge. HydroFill plugs into an AC outlet (using an adapter), or to a 60W solar panel or small wind turbine. In 2006, Horizon introduced solar hydrogen powered toy cars.
