I think Ed Kjaer, head of electric transportation for Southern California Edison, had the best quote at the podium saying that nobody should think EVs are just golf carts or that the technology isn’t ready: “It is so ready. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
