At the 2010 SAE World Congress in Detroit, Delphi Corp. have agreed to work together to develop, manufacture and sell SAE J1772-compliant, UL-listed charging systems for all-electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The design is currently in use on hybrid vehicles offered by a number of manufacturers.
