While BIG ICE car manufacturers are focussing on large, expensive electric SUV's for the corporate types and the rich industrialist's, this startup is working towards a solution for all. At 3 m length, it is good enough for two rows of seats, The e2o was a 2 door - and Mahindra Reva felt that it could have been easier to sell with 4 doors.

I have used a rotary switch in the Reva, a stick shift in the Mahindra e2o, a rotating knob in the Tata Nexon EV - and now the button selector in the I- PACE. He was a volunteer with Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation and he wanted us to roll up the windows. I am told that the standard home fitment is going to be a 7 KW charger.

India's Reva was first into the market with the G-Wiz. Corporate and public-sector fleets will get to lease 100 test cars for a pilot period of four years. The i-MIEV would make available for the first time in the UK a full-function, highway-capable electric car, if still very small by American standards.

The charging port standard is also something that they can relook at. Compared to the Nexon’s 8 year warranty, the MG’s standard warranty is 5 years. Jay’s first EV was the DC motor Reva, which he bought way back in the early 2000s. And is currently sold only to corporates. I liked the MG gear shifter.
