GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Sometimes an EV is introduced as a model but is then converted into a sub-brand. Rivian will be delivering all-electric pickups and SUVs very soon. I’m hoping for the latter. It’s certainly the opposite of what Harley-Davidson is doing.

Probably the most needed and least controversial proposed change is the elimination of the phaseout of the tax cap that begins in the quarter after a manufacturer sells 200,000 BEVs or PHEVs in the US. Notes: SUVs are not defined, but presumably this category includes crossovers. 4 and Tesla Model Y are classified as small SUVs.
