FuelCell Energy completes 14.9MW fuel cell park on schedule for Dominion

The installation consists of five direct fuel cell power plants and an organic rankine cycle turbine for added output and further efficiency gains. The project was completed on schedule and power is being delivered to the electric grid under a 15-year energy purchase agreement with a Connecticut electric utility.

FuelCell Energy receives $2.8M continuation of DOE award for tri-generation Direct FuelCell power plant

FuelCell Energy will install a sub-megawatt carbonate fuel cell power plant at its manufacturing facility in Torrington, Connecticut, to generate hydrogen, electricity and heat, replacing hydrogen that is currently purchased and delivered to the facility via truck, and replacing electricity purchased from the electric grid.

8 ZEV states announce US ZEV sales top 260,000 units

The other seven states—Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont—account for more than 135,000 vehicles. US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

The program includes the installation of 10 alternative fuel refueling sites (two B20, one Electric Recharging, and seven CNG). The project will deploy 554 alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehicles and install 153 alternative fueling and electric vehicle charging stations throughout the Chicago region.
