Ford battles with dealers over EV sales plan

Ford is now facing pushback from dealers in numerous states over its EV sales plan. This certification is required for any dealer selling Ford electric vehicles. Ford’s EV Certification program has two main requirements; sell EVs at fixed prices and invest between $500,000 and $1.2 million into EV charging infrastructure.

Tesla’s war against direct sales wages on with big win in Virginia

This decision goes against the wishes of the Virginia Automobiles Dealers Association (VADA), which will not plan a legal challenge. Tesla will still need to obtain a license issued by the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board to have permission to operate as a car sales entity. It was an easy way out.
