Honda last week announced key targets for sales of electrified vehicles in North America, with a plan to make battery-electric and fuel cell electric vehicles (BEVs and FCEVs) to represent 100% of its vehicle sales by 2040, progressing from sales of 40% by 2030 and 80% by 2035.

EIA: California home to almost half of US plug-in electric vehicles

DOE to invest $30M to further H2 and fuel cell technology as industry continues strong growth

To further this emerging market, DOE also announced a notice of intent ( DE-FOA-0001411 ) to invest $30 million, subject to appropriations, to advance fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
