The two one-inch holes will get grommets for the high-current battery cables connecting the front batteries with the middle pack. The 8-volt golf cart batteries arrived over 24 days ago and have just been sitting on the garage floor, discharging. The 16 7-inch cables connect adjacent batteries.

April 10, 2009 11:21 am Link Kaare- Lithium Ion batteries do not contain lead (unless it is in solder connections) and do not contain acid. And with EV maintenance you are less exposed to being ripped off buy the ICE car repairman. None of the new electric cars are planning to use old-tech lead acid batteries. — Jeff U 6.
