These high-capacity 8-volt golf-cart batteries are 70 pounds apiece. I pre-laid out these batteries on the floor to guestimate what the connections between the terminals were. I've got an e-mail into ElectroAuto for some connection diagrams, but haven't received the files yet. Tonight was an evening of heavy lifting.

If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. The fact that no journalists do their research to bring up all those connections is sad, sad.
