France’s IFPEN studying industrial potential of onshore sources of natural hydrogen

The H 2 used in industry is mainly produced by converting natural gas (CH 4 ), which has the downside of emitting CO 2. Initial exploratory work has already shown that continuous onshore natural H 2 emissions occur frequently.
