Proposed Changes to the Federal EV Tax Credit Passed by the House of Representatives

The current tax credit has a base of $2,500 and is replaced with a new $4,000 base credit as long as the EV has a battery of at least 10 kWh and can be plugged in and recharged. Since the tax credit is based on base MSRP, this is a valid comparison as the cost differential between the ICE and BEV versions of the F-150 is $10,684.

That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. Fisker is a good example. Many others are not so careful.
