Mission NewEnergy’s basic plan is to ship biodiesel produced in Malaysia from jatropha seeds produced in India to markets in Europe and the US. M1 and M2 are its biodiesel plants in Malaysia. Under the terms of the supply agreement, Mission will supply Valero with up to 200,000 tonnes (60 million gallons) of biodiesel per year.

Fats and greases and inedible oils are opportunity feedstocks, but the US supply of fats and greases is probably on the order of less than 10 million barrels, closer to 1-2 million barrels on an annual basis. We expect that demo plant fully up and working in 2013—at that point, we will be ready for commercial sale of the technology.
