A team of students from the University of Florida , in Gainesville, designed a computer mouse for those whose hands or arms have an abnormality, so they could more easily play games. This year the program marks its 15th anniversary.

The US Departments of Energy (DOE) and Agriculture (USDA) have awarded 10 grants totaling $12.2 Overall, the USDA and DOE projects are designed to improve special crops to be grown for biofuels—including selected trees and grasses—by increasing their yield, quality and ability to adapt to extreme environments.
