Volkswagen AG and the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) are partnering in Project Qatar Mobility, which will put a fleet of self-driving Level 4 electric shuttles into operation in the Qatar capital Doha in 2022. Project Qatar Mobility will play a very important role in our Strategy ‘Together 2025+‘.

For instance, Total has lined up an 800 megawatt (MW) solar project in Qatar where it will own a 49% stake in the project when it is completed in 2021. Natural gas does produce about 28% less CO2 emissions than heating oil and 50% less than coal for the same amount of energy when burned.
