Norway saw plugin electric vehicles take 76.3% The January auto market was highly anomalous due to the new year’s introduction of tighter auto emissions and tax increases, which had pulled sales forward into December. January’s combined plugin result of 76.3% full electrics (BEVs), and 9.8% year on year.

Norway increased its plugin electric vehicle market share to 91.1% The bestselling vehicle was, again, the Tesla Model Y. This is the first time Norway has seen 3 consecutive months with combined plugin share staying above 90% (see graph below). full battery electrics (BEVs), and 7.8% plugin hybrids (PHEVs).

February saw Norway’s plugin electric vehicle share continue to grow to 90.1%, from 86.1% All the growth came from full electrics, whilst plugin hybrids lost share. The bestselling vehicle was the Tesla Model Y. overall plugin share comprised 83.1% full electrics (BEVs), and 7.0% year on year.
