Wind Sailing at Mysuru! It was a 10 course lunch and if my memory serves me right, this is what we had: Grape juice, Masala dosa, Wada, Bisellebela rice, Rasam rice, Sambar Rice, Curd Rice, Badam halwa, Sheera, Icecream with fruits and paan. Vikram has helped start the Royal Mysore Sailing club. Not too bad for 135 km of travel.

I pulled an old issue of Sierra (the magazine of the Sierra Club) from July/August 1997. The USA got the leap on everyone else with solar, wind and other fossil free energy as well as electric cars and other alternative fuel vehicles. There was a nice selection of books, especially guides to the flora and fauna of the High Sierras.
