GM is committed to reducing emissions throughout its manufacturing operations and supply chain, so it manages traditional solvents through recycling, conversion to energy and superheating the gases to break them down. GM evaluated the new technology as a total business case. It’s being used on the Chevrolet Cruze, Sonic, and Volt.

Aqua Metals has developed a process that it says is much cleaner, more efficient and more cost-effective. It’s not efficient at all.

like i said in the first place, for me, this makes me think of one step in the right direction and makes me think of a greener cleaner future. Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. excluding coal power in china. lol BUT everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

V2G helps solve the major problem that demand for electricity is high during the day when everything from industrial plants to air conditioning is running full blast and then excess electricity is wasted at night. Several early models of passenger vehicles have enough energy stored in advanced batteries to power several homes for hours.

So much more convenient than having to take time out of my day and go out of my way (wasting more energy) to get a charge elsewhere or do battery swaps.
