Georgia Tech team develops high-performance intermediate-temperature sold-oxide fuel cell

A team from Georgia Tech, with colleagues at the university of Kansas, has designed a high-performance solid-oxide fuel cell that operates directly on nearly dry (only ~3.5 vol% H 2 O) methane at 500 °C, demonstrating a peak power density of 0.37 Lowering the temperature to 500 degrees Celsius is a sensation in our world.
