The basis for the natural gas engine is provided by the four-cylinder supercharged "Kompressor" engine with an output of 120 kW (163 hp).

Kia unveiling new cee’d GT line with new 1.0L T-GDi and 7-speed DCT at Geneva

Kia’s new turbocharged engine, developed in-house at the company’s Namyang R&D center in Korea, features a high-pressure direct injection system, advanced engine cooling and an integrated exhaust manifold for cleaner emissions and efficient packaging. The Kia cee’d GT Line will be available from Kia dealers across Europe in Q4 2015.
