The new regulation accelerates requirements that automakers deliver an increasing number of zero-emission light-duty vehicles each year beginning in model year 2026. The regulation applies to automakers (not dealers) and covers only new vehicle sales.

Kia’s new turbocharged engine, developed in-house at the company’s Namyang R&D center in Korea, features a high-pressure direct injection system, advanced engine cooling and an integrated exhaust manifold for cleaner emissions and efficient packaging. The Kia cee’d GT Line will be available from Kia dealers across Europe in Q4 2015.
