A 220 volt socket like on your water heater or dryer would be better, ad these typically have 40 or 50 amp circuits, so they can deliver 8,000 to 10,000 watts - is this what they mean? Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. Saving lives through nuclear power. :p

US intelligence and defense agencies say such environmental changes can lead to energy insecurity, water and food shortages, and social instability. Do we really want to be remembered as the generation that wasted another decade? The Chinese can promise to do this because they’re modernizing their economy. Protection of IPRs.

We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Commendation, absolutely, but GM needs to make sure their company continues on to make sure that money doesnt just go to waste.
