I’ve a few worst nominees on the combustion front – the Tata Xenon ute, Honda City sedan and Chrysler Crossfire spring to mind – but I’ve now got a sole champion on the EV front. Seres is a subsidiary of Chinese auto giant Dongfeng, and the Seres 3 has sold in China as the Fengon E3 since 2019. The Seres 3 SUV.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it. But yes, there was no slalom to see how it handles the twisties. It is probably a real rocket compared to the Daimler version that will eventually show up.
