Plenty of public charging in what's come to be called Voltageville. We chose the solar-powered Park n Ride just off 80. After an hour or so of breakfast and conversation, we unplugged our respective vehicles and went off to our appointments in the Capitol. Plenty of available chargers there. See my remarks below.)

He has driven his 2005 Prius, dubbed “Spirit of DC,” to 48 state capitals and five Canadian provinces, and now he’s launching a “Plug-in Arizona Tour,” he said.Spirit is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). a hybrid is converted to a PHEV, it can reach a top speed of about 52 mph in electric mode before the gasoline engine takes over.

They reinforce the Pacific National Labs January 2007 findings that we wont have to build new power plants for cars that charge at night. Plus more people are installing rooftop solar photovoltaic systems, and clean wind power is vastly expanding nationally (see study by eminent environmentalist Lester Brown cited at CalCars Kudos ).
