It’s the Electric Motor Show this weekend in Helsinki, and a whole host of innovative electric cars will be on display at the Exhibition & Convention Centre in the Finnish capital. Among the exhibitors will be Think, the Norwegian electric vehicle will be making its Finnish motor show debut with its Think City electric car.

In a flurry of electric vehicle activity, three back-to-back announcements this week have placed a spotlight on Oregon’s plans to be the friendliest state in the nation in which to build, sell and buy electric cars. According to Nissan, the company plans to introduce its upcoming electric car in Oregon in late 2010.

Wired Home Subscribe Sections Cars 2.0 The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
