Electricity is ubiquitous, EVs refuelable by wind, hydro, geothermal, solar, or traditional energy sources. In California, it is 134 mpg. Level 1 (120v) charging is practical when a charge of approximately 5 mph is acceptable, while Level 2 and Level 3 must be utilized for a faster charge.

Even here in Southern California, where at some point every car sold in America can be seen, the 2022 Polestar 2 is rare and drew the obvious question–“What is that?” seconds was perfectly fine for merging onto Southern California freeways, and the 3.8 seconds from 50 to 70 mph, made passing Semi trucks and motorhomes a breeze.

In the 210 miles we put on the CUV, averaging 65 miles per hour traversing Southern California highways, we had an average of 41.5 Zero-to-60 mph speeds are in the low-eight second range, which doesn’t quite put it in the performance or sporty category. The wireless phone charger is a $75 option.
