Dundee-based Axeon, Europe’s largest independent lithium-ion battery systems supplier, has received the nod to develop a high capacity battery system for the electric Citroen C1 ev’ie. The vehicle, which is manufactured by the UK-based Electric Car Corporation, has a range of more than 60 miles and a top speed of 60mph.
