UPS plans to purchase approximately 700 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks and to build four refueling stations by the end of 2014. An initial investment of more than $18 million to build fueling stations will be supported by the purchase of the 700 LNG tractors and continued expansion of the natural gas fleet in the US.

As per the job opening from the tunneling startup, the firefighter would be responsible for training, troubleshooting, logistics, researching, and working with the Clark County Building Department and the Fire Department. The Boring Company will also be obtaining fire equipment from the Clark County Fire Department for use in the Vegas Loop.

AECOM has been selected to construct the $1-billion, 3-million square foot electric car manufacturing plant for Faraday Future (FF) in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The project will also feature extended life-cycle materials that require less maintenance.

Boring also envisions expanding the line to other areas of the Las #Vegas Valley. Clark County Nevada revealed TBC will not use any funds from taxpayers to build its Vegas Loop. The Vegas Loop is The Boring Company’s more extensive tunneling project in Sin City. The fee is calculated every quarter.

Fox Rent A Car has renewed a fuel contract for approximately 210,000 gallons of Redeem over three years to power its 17 CNG rental car shuttles at Los Angeles International Airport and McCarren Airport in Las Vegas.

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, revealed the Freightliner SuperTruck II in Las Vegas this week. By lowering the friction on the road, less fuel is needed to maintain the truck speed. The engineers were able to significantly reduce the tractor rolling resistance by 12% over SuperTruck I.
