U. Delaware and NRG Energy vehicle-to-grid project selling power to PJM

A vehicle-to-grid (V2G) project between the University of Delaware and NRG Energy has begun selling power to PJM Interconnection for the power grid. The technology is expected to initially help managers of commercial EV fleets by providing revenue while the vehicles are parked, with individual EV owners to eventually follow.

DOE releases three reports showing strong growth in US fuel cell and hydrogen market

There were several collaboration announcements between automakers with regards to fuel cell electric vehicles, including Toyota and BMW’s long-term strategic collaboration to jointly develop a fuel cell system. Daimler, Ford, and Nissan joined forces to develop a common fuel cell system and launch commercial FCEVs as early as 2017.
