For a school bus with kids getting off, we showed that the Tesla would drive right past, completely ignoring the “school zone” sign, and keeping on driving at 40 miles per hour. Automakers continue to only offer sub-100 mile range vehicles. The electric Infiniti has been “postponed,” and BMW is entering the market with a car that doesn’t challenge Tesla. Even with Level 1 charging at work, these become 100+ mile cars. It’s also grid-friendly. They should be encouraged.

EVs ain’t cheap Price is another EV purchase risk that is comparable to EV range.
