The project, called “European Battery Innovation” (EuBatIn) was jointly prepared and notified by Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden. The twelve Member States will provide up to €2.9 billion (US$3.5 billion) in funding in the coming years.

The project, called “IPCEI Hy2Tech” was jointly prepared and notified by fifteen Member States: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain. The Member States will provide up to €5.4 billion in private investments.

In the EU, transportation laws require vehicles to have an active TPMS. As more European countries, including Belgium, Poland and Turkey, adopt winter tire legislations, TPMS revenues and unit sales will increase in the short and medium term. This installed base is forecast to grow to 36.7 million by 2018.
