T&E: Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands lead deployments of zero-emission buses in Europe

Denmark leads the way when it comes to putting zero-emission urban buses on the streets in Europe, with 78% of new vehicles being electric, according to the latest data from green NGO Transport & Environment. In Luxembourg and the Netherlands about two-thirds of new buses were zero-emissions.

DNV GL paper suggests near-term success for LNG in shipping; alternative fuel mix to diversify over time

While LNG is expected to be an early success, the picture becomes more diversified over time, as more than 20% of shipping could adopt hybrid propulsion solutions featuring batteries or other energy storage technologies, according to the paper. Ship electrification holds significant promise for more efficient use of energy.
