Hyundai Motor Company will establish a Hyundai Mobility Global Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICs) to accelerate its innovation efforts, with support from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). The new innovative lab will be located in Singapore’s Jurong Innovation District.

Singapore-based TUM CREATE unveiled an electric taxi prototype designed for tropical megacities, codenamed EVA, at the Tokyo Motor Show. Power is supplied by a 50 kWh battery pack, comprising 216 63 Ah lithium polymer cells. The cycling involving fast charging at 3C was aimed to charge the battery pack of an EV in 20 min.
