The benefit of a higher voltage connector has nothing to do with the speed at which the battery will charge it has to do with the conductor size. That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. excluding coal power in china. lol BUT everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

So imagine a million electric cars on US roads which all need to change these batteries in say 2015.
