In partnership with the Czech technology company IBG ?esko, So far, 160 pre-orders have been received from dealers in the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands and Slovakia.

Skoda to set up second life battery hubs to power its retailers. Skoda will use second-hand lithium-ion batteries from its PHEVs and BEV models to power its retailer network. It will install power hubs across all its retailer network which is made from lithium-ion batteries sourced from its old electric vehicles.

Hyundai Motor is integrating green energy into Charge myHyundai. When charged with renewable energy, battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) such as IONIQ 5 produce up to 81% lower well-to-wheel lifecycle emissions compared to a normal ICE vehicle, according to a 2021 study from the International Council of Clean Transportation (ICCT).
