The plan is to eventually transition its entire fleet of vehicles to be fully electric, but the company doesn’t plan to accomplish this until 2035. However, the company is planning to continue launching new models in the future, most notably the GMC Hummer EV. assembly capacity for EV SUVs.

Berg helped found Li-ion battery company Valence and has served on the board of directors since September 1991. But the battery-powered two-wheelers get separate showrooms, sales methodologies and marketing programs aimed at different target audience. GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. This behemoth will be super powerful and long range–and will be expensive too. I’m hoping for the latter.

On January 28 GM announced that it plans (aspires) to exclusively offer electric vehicles by 2035, ending production of its cars, trucks and SUVs with diesel- and gasoline-powered engines. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. Way to go morons.
