The radar sensor is the basis for the Proximity Control Assist and Emergency Braking Assist already available today. For comparison, the human eye has a 150-degree angle of vision, but its focal area is merely a fraction of this. The short-range sensor has a range of 70 m and scans a 130-degree segment.

Neutral richii @ Apr 19th 2009 5:28PM @ everyone, I can see what your trying to say, that without gas powered vehicles that a much larger strain will be put on electrical facilities that also contribute to air pollution and degrade our environment. but its never even been close to the amount of garbage that gas power vehicles produce.

Hit the jump for a comparison that includes plenty of pics and video. Of course, everything has its drawbacks and one problem with charging at home is that it is not an option available for some city dwellers. Most charge points available today take much longer to re-energize batteries than it does to fill a gas-powered cars tank.
