Three weeks ago we spent the day shooting at the Kick Gas Festival in San Diego. They are available today. It costs about the same as a good full suspension mountain bike ($2600), goes 20 mph without pedaling, and runs 20 miles on a charge if you don’t pedal at all. 0 to 20 in seconds, pedaling optional.

For highway driving along with the super quiet ride (60 dBA @ 70 mph) it was enjoyable and never fatiguing. It’s not the fastest EV on the market today, but it’s no slouch. Gasoline/diesel fueling stations to replenish the liquid fuel for these engines are readily available. If sun is unavailable on a particular day due to rain or other weather conditions, then the owner can use a little biofuel from the local gas station or, if the house is still connected to the grid, use some standard grid electricity.

This SAE spec would make it so you could go to a gas station and they would have the proper voltage and plug for your car. but its never even been close to the amount of garbage that gas power vehicles produce. This would be like all laptop makers agreeing on the same plug to fit in all laptops. Is this the Zune HD?
