Now I believe the entire automobile industry is in such a phase because the recent influx of electric vehicles into our roads is making our roads quieter a lot quieter than we anticipated. As we all know electric vehicles make no or little noise since they don’t have the roaring engine and its reciprocating pistons.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Wired Home Subscribe Sections Cars 2.0 But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. Thats short-sighted.
