Unlike battery-powered electric vehicles, FCEVs can go over 500 kilometers on a full tank of hydrogen and can be refueled in 2-3 minutes, exactly like regular petrol/diesel cars. They will buy a car and rent or lease the battery and the cost of leasing the battery will be the same as, or less than, the cost theyre paying today for petrol. This is unusual. People wont buy a full car.

based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. It was a Manufacturing Failure, as GM NEVER planned to build the car in Volume, so No Economies of Scale were ever achieved. If no one wants your car (because people think it sucks), then no one will buy it, regardless of how good the fuel economy may or may not be.
