Yamaha introduces the NEO and E01 electric scooters in India

Yamaha is coming up with a range of 68 km due to two interchangeable battery packs on the bike scooter (50.4 Ah Li-ion batteries). Maxi-style concept scooter Yamaha E01 has a stated range of over 100 kilometres. These two electric scooters have yet to go on sale in India, and it’s unclear when it will happen.

GM says it is already looking ahead to the next generation of Volt-based vehicles — it unveiled the Cadillac Converj concept in January — and says costs will come down as the technology spreads to more models. Its been improving over time, but the power density and cost issues are still steep for what exists thus far. Way to go morons.
