Anyos Jedlik built an electric motor in 1828, and he used it to make the first miniature electric car. It had an AC induction motor and a 96V lead-acid battery pack as its power source. In the same year, Bajaj Auto ltd Pune also displayed a three-seater electric rickshaw. The cars were powered by a 72-volt lead-acid battery.
