The Toyota Prius was once reviled by most enthusiasts and often the butt of jokes, even in pop culture. The 2023 Toyota Prius changes the narrative without sacrificing the core mission. I’ve driven many a Prius over the years, and the 2023 version is the first one I’d even think about owning for any reason other than fuel mileage.

The event, WAJ Media Day 2021, afforded me a chance to experience some exotic and high-end cars that aren’t normally in the sights of Clean Fleet Report. Seventeen manufacturers brought 27 cars for two dozen journalists to drive along Highway 1 and into the adjacent hills.

Earlier this month, Green Star Products along with its International Consortium partner Global Green Cars had publicly tested its full electric vehicle version at tracks in Utah and Kentucky. Global Green Cars is a U.S. Presently there are no plug-in electric hybrid vehicles offered by any major car company in the U.S.
