Quest is designed to capture and safely store more than one million tonnes of CO 2 each year—equal to the emissions from about 250,000 cars. The CO 2 is a byproduct of the production of hydrogen, which is used to upgrade the bitumen. Te Storage zone is a formation called Basal Cambrian Sands (BCS).

Several early models of passenger vehicles have enough energy stored in advanced batteries to power several homes for hours. Millions of EVs and PHEVs would expand the sale of electricity as an alternative to oil. Then give us all a hydrogen cracker (solor powered) and run our cars and supplement our homes with the hydrogen.

It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. GM killed that car because of back room deals with oil companies, and now they expect us to believe that they are just so cutting edge now? THE GOV NEEDS TO GET THIER HEADS OUT OF THE SAND,THIS IS SO BIG. It is 12 years later.
