Battery-gasoline hybrids go back more than 20 years to the first Toyota Prius, but real mainstream battery-only electric EVs are only in their second decade.

Audi e-Tron S – triple motor version of the regular e-Tron arrives early in 2022 priced from $165,600 (plus on-roads), delivering more performance and slicker dynamics. Audi e-Tron GT – the BEV guts of the regular e-Tron (also shared with Porsche’s Taycan) in a coupe-inspired four-door body. Audi RS e-Tron GT.

The Audi e-Tron GT , Kia EV6 GT and Hyundai Ioniq 5 N would be at the top of that list. But I’m also curious to see how Toyota fights back in the EV space. I’ll chuck the Toyota bZ4X onto the wish list as well. It’ll give Volkswagen, Toyota, et al. The EV I’m most looking forward to in 2023.

They include Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford and Subaru. Audi e-Tron GT and RS e-Tron GT. Audi e-Tron GT quattro. It won’t be cheap, but Audi’s e-Tron GT and its more potent RS e-Tron GT sibling promise big performance. The Solterra is Subaru’s first EV , although it’s arguably more Toyota than Subaru. Toyota bZ4X.

I would love to have one for my daily commuter. Then I can keep my current quad cab truck for when I need to move more people or haul stuff.
