Buick’s plug-in hybrid Velite Concept will make its global debut at the Guangzhou auto show, which opens on November 18. The development of the Velite Concept was led by the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), GM’s engineering and design joint venture in Shanghai with SAIC, leveraging GM’s global resources.

The ATC will serve as the home of four key GM technical and design organizations: the China Science Lab; Vehicle Engineering Lab; Advanced Powertrain Engineering Lab; and Advanced Design Center.
