There are two public hearings scheduled for this proposed finding: 18 May at the EPA Potomac Yard Conference Center, Arlington, VA; and 21 May at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle, WA. The scientific analysis also confirms that climate change impacts human health in several ways.

Conference of Mayors Join Drive for Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles LAS VEGAS—June 5, 2006— The U.S. Conference of Mayors today unanimously endorsed a resolution encouraging the use of plug-in hybrid vehicles as an important step in reducing this country’s reliance on foreign oil and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles.

The analysis also looked at the impact of climate change on human health and suggests that it may lead to higher levels of ground-level ozone, a harmful pollutant.
