Arlington Assembly is responsible for profitable models like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade.

On Tuesday morning, 5,000 UAW members walked off the job at GM’s Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, which makes some of the automaker’s most profitable vehicles, including the Chevy Tahoe, the Chevy Suburban, the GMC Yukon and the Cadillac Escalade. Following news that production of the Chevrolet Silverado EV would be delayed, General Motors has announced that the Chevy Equinox EV would likewise be arriving behind schedule.
