Just one day after the UAW went on strike at Stellantis’ pickup factory in Sterling Heights , roughly 5,000 union members walked off the line at General Motors’ plant in Arlington, Texas. Arlington Assembly is responsible for profitable models like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade.

On Tuesday morning, 5,000 UAW members walked off the job at GM’s Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, which makes some of the automaker’s most profitable vehicles, including the Chevy Tahoe, the Chevy Suburban, the GMC Yukon and the Cadillac Escalade. UAW President Shawn Fain said in a blog post on Tuesday. GM reported $44.13 billion.
