Three plug-in hybrid-electric Chrysler Town & Country minivans ( earlier post ) went into service with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), bringing to 25 the total number of such vehicles on US roads. Components of the flex-fuel PHEV minivan. Other deployments are in Arizona, North Carolina and Michigan.

It initiated the start of the "Plug-in Arizona Educational Tour" for educating one AZ County at a time! And of course, now Plug-ins for extra credit! Most likely, the All American "Spirit of DC" made History again today -- becoming the first EVer Plug-in to be seen at Nogales High School. It'll be just after Thanksgiving.

EVJerr even signed up for the 2009 Prius PHEV, too! Second Run was to University of Arizona in Tucson. on the road to Santa Monica for the Plug-in Parade.

The "Spirit" was met by Ricky Suiter Rick.Suiter@yahoo.com with a plug at the ready for another opportunity charge while visiting. Then, it was almost a steady couple of hours doing a two-for-one videotaping -- the "Spirit" and Ricky's "Electric Lime" were in the limelight of a delightfully sunny and bright Arizona day.
