Consumers have more choices than ever when shopping for vehicles with higher fuel economy and lower tailpipe CO 2 emissions. These choices reflect both a more diverse range of technology packages on conventional gasoline vehicles as well as more advanced technology and alternative fueled vehicles.

Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform. The resulting fuel efficiency improvements mean lower CO2 emissions and less fossil fuel consumption and, therefore, less pollution. Continues promotion and development of hydrogen as long-term strategy. No announced plans.
